Central Coast Innovation Summit 2014

The 2014 Central Coast Innovation Summit will be held on Thursday 22nd of May following on from three highly successful Summits from 2011-2013.

This year’s Summit will explore big new innovations that could have a real impact on the Central Coast. The theme of the summit is ‘Innovation Game-Changers Likely to Change Our Region’.

The three key-note speakers this year are:

Brad Krauskopf
CEO and Founder, Hubs Australia

Brad activates spaces that unleash the energy of diverse people, organisations and cities. He is an entrepreneur, innovator and speaker.

As CEO of Hub Australia, Australia’s largest coworking community, which he founded in 2011, Brad works with small and large organisations across Australia to drive innovation through collaboration across sectors, disciplines and generations. His most recent venture is Third Spaces, which works with business, government and the community with an aim to enable a national network of shared workspaces in Australia. He was recently named Australia’s Small Business Ambassador for 2013. He is an ambassador for the Connected Village and part of the Leadership Group of the Shared Value Project.

Kristi Mansfield
Managing Director, Fifth Quadrant

Kristi Mansfield is the managing director of Fifth Quadrant. Formerly the Asia Pacific Vice President of Marketing for Nuance Communications, Kristi brings extensive market expertise in customer experience consulting, channel and sales development, and analyst services. Prior to joining Fifth Quadrant, Kristi through the investment firm she founded called Greenstone Group, raised capital for start up businesses in the emerging high tech, food production and innovation industries. She is also involved in community social change initiatives, having brokered more than $25 million to projects around the world primarily to benefit women and girls. Kristi is on the board of The Stella Prize. She has a Masters in Social Investment and is a published author.

Bruce Stalder

CEO, Central Coast Mariners

Bruce Stalder is currently CEO of the Central Coast Mariners Football Club, taking up the position in February 2014 after 9 and half years with the Brisbane ROAR Football Club.

Bruce is one of only a handful of people (players/coaches/ administrators) who have been with the Hyundai A League from its inception in 2004. He has blue chip experience in all aspects of professional sport administration, including match day sports presentation, football operations, membership and marketing, ticketing, stadia management, financial control and commercial.

Prior to committing to being part of the development of a new national football competition, Bruce was a successful event designer, consultant and producer, Capital City FM radio station programmer and announcer, project and talent manager and sales promotions director.

Bruce has delivered major concerts and festivals, launched key brands, businesses and products and managed talent and teams.

He knows that successful and innovative business has as much to do with communications, the management of systems and relationships as they do with a successful idea, product, brand or activity.

After 25 years of mistake making, risk taking, idea baking and brain raking, Bruce knows the positive power of failure. Failure feeds innovation and ensures change. Success is simply a consequence.

He looks forward to 25 more years of such consequences.
